recommended care of silver jewelry:
never place campi design in any ultra-sonic cleaning device.this will strip the patina that has been applied to every one of my creations.The technique for cleaning is a simple one.Place pieces in clean corningware pot with warm to hot water and any good quality dishwashing liquid.{i use dawn}.Off brands will discolor metal.Let it soak for about one minute to loosen dirt and oil.Using a fine bristle toothbrush go over each piece thoroughly as if you were brushing your teeth.This will not scratch the metal so give it a good scrub and rinse in warm water until all soap residue is eliminated.As a final step in rinsing run silver under cold water.Folklore states that running silver under cold water brings good luck.I kind of like that sentiment.Place pieces on dry clean towel and pat dry.You can use a hairdryer to completely dry pieces.After pieces are thouroughly dry use any any good quality jewelry polishing cloth.Rub pieces completely and your pieces should come up bright and shiny.This technique can be used for all jewelry and precious metal objects.MY suggestion is to do this as often as you like.
